We started The Natural Vet to do veterinary medicine the way we always wanted to. Calm, considered, evidence led, and properly personal.
Dr Adele Fitzpatrick founded the practice in December 2016 as Vet Creche, later rebranded to The Natural Vet. Adele had recognised a gap in Glasgow and across Scotland for a genuinely holistic, force-free approach to companion animal care, and set out to build it.
The idea grew into a proper philosophy: longer consultations, honest pricing, and the freedom to combine the best of conventional medicine with gentler tools such as herbs, acupuncture and laser therapy when they fit the case. Alongside the practice sits a shop. We have a wealth of experience across a range of medical presentations, including those suffered by Brachycephalic patients: chronic skin disease, BOAS, chronic pain and disc disease.
What we are really after is simple. We want pets to thrive, not just survive. A long, healthy, vital life, with as little extra in the system as possible. That is the practice we always wanted to work in, and the one we built.
"Good medicine is not about the longest list of treatments. It is about the right ones, at the right time, for the pet in front of you."

We are a fully equipped veterinary practice with in-house diagnostics, surgery, dental and imaging. What sets us apart is how we use it. We take longer over each appointment, we explain everything in plain language, and we never use a default package where a tailored plan would serve your pet better.
Plenty of practices say they care. Here is what that looks like in the diary, in the consult room and on the bill.
Twice the time most practices offer, at the same price. A real conversation, not a rushed appointment.
We test for existing immunity as an alternative to routine boosters. Where a booster is needed, you will know exactly why.
We identify the parasite first, so your pet gets the appropriate wormer. Our vets will help you design a risk-based approach to parasite control.
Dental and neutering at one clear price, with anaesthetic monitoring, intravenous fluids and recovery care all included.
Calming pheromones, acupuncture and gentle technique for the procedures pets dread most.
Book the same vet across visits so your pet is remembered, not relearned at every appointment.
Raw, fresh, kibble, cooked or home-prepared. We will help you build a plan that works for your pet.
Acupuncture, herbal support and laser therapy, alongside the medicine you would expect.
A wealth of experience with brachycephalic patients. BOAS, entropion and cherry eye are everyday work for us.
